  • Transportation, technology and society (especially how people interact with AVs and EVs and how these will affect dev of cities
  • Travelers Distracted Driving White paper: For Travelers Company (funded) wrote a white paper reviewing strategies for intervening to reduce distracted driving…and what research had been done to test effectiveness…plus reviewed two driving apps for them.
  • Driving simulator studies (plus AV involvement more generally): Using new driving simulator in Storrs, testing some hypotheses about the challenges of the “handoff” when one is driving an AV and has to take over control.
